As we all know Al Gore is supposobly a hardcore environmentalist; hence his novel An Inconvenient Truth. However, Mr. Gore does not practice what he preaches. According to Al Gore, in the past year he has taken steps to make his home in Tennessee more energy-efficient, but just the opposite took place.
According to the Tennessee Center of Policy Research, Gore's home energy has actually RISEN by more than 10% over the past year. The amount of energy used in his home in the past year could have powered 232 homes in the United States for an atire month. How crazy is that? Ok, it gets better...........
Shortly after the Tennessee Center of Policy Research exposed the former VP's energy use, Gore quickly made changes to his home. He installed a geothermal system, solar panels, replaced the home's ductwork and windows, and also added energy efficient light-bulbs. Although he did all this work to his home, it is now wasting EVEN MORE power. haha, poor guy can't catch a break.
The Tennessee Center of Policy Research President Johnson had this to say about Mr. Gore. "Actions speak louder than words, and Gore’s actions prove that he views climate change not as a serious problem, but as a money-making opportunity. Gore is exploiting the public’s concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile." The reasoning behind those comments made by Johnson is because it seems Gore made an estimated $100 million last year by promoting a greener environment.
I guess people will say anything now a days to earn some extra cash $$$
